My Story

From Grandma's Kitchen to Lisbon

My love for baking began with the warm, fluffy doughnuts my grandmother used to make. After moving more than 4,000 kilometres away from her, I wanted to recreate that unforgettable taste of childhood — the kind that makes you feel at home, wherever you are.

I'm Evelina, a 14-year-old baker living in Lisbon. I speak English, Ukrainian and Portuguese, but I believe the sweetest language is the one everyone understands: freshly baked cookies.

My first and most honest taste testers are my family — my mum, my dad and my six-year-old little sister. They try every new flavour, celebrate the best recipes and always tell me when a cookie needs just a little more chocolate.

When I'm not baking cookies and cakes, you'll probably find me running, watching FC Barcelona or playing football. I used to play for Sporting, and sport taught me something I now bring into the kitchen: keep practising, stay creative and never give up after the first try.

Every bake is inspired by family, childhood memories and the joy of creating something that makes people smile.

This is only the beginning of my baking story.
